Resistant seeds will become more sought after due to climate change
Although Hungarian farmers are still looking primarily for plant varieties with higher yields and good quality, in the long run, demand may shift towards seeds that are more tolerant of changed climatic conditions – Magyar Nemzet Online wrote. The weather extremes are also giving the domestic seed producers a lesson, but the breeders are already working hard to make the varieties of the future more resistant.
