T-City, Magyar Telekom and Szolnok launched their joint innovation project one year ago. The latest project, in cooperation with Co-op Hungary, is called Future Store and it started at the one-year anniversary. At a press conference, held at Tiszasziget’s Hotel Garden on 7 June 2010, Ferenc Szalay, the mayor of Szolnok praised the dedication of Telekom in the field of education, as people of all ages had the chance to participate in training programmes. Róbert Pataki, strategic and business development deputy CEO of Magyar Telekom thanked the leaders of Szolnok for their active and devoted participation in the intelligent city project. He told that the Future Stores initiative stands alone in Hungary. László Murányi, Co-op Hungary’s president-CEO said that the Future Store concept fits well into their shopper-friendly business policy. During the 3-month test period hostesses will aid shoppers in using the new tools.
