Analysts say one-off effect may have increased the retail sales in August
According to the communication of the Ministry of National Economy (NGM); the retail trade figures reflect a positive turn in August. Analysts polled by MTI explained the expansion with a one-off impact on traffic in August, with the shoppings from the pension fund real return payments.
According to the Friday communication of the Ministry of National Economy (NGM); the August volume of retail trade turnover showed a 0.4 percent growth, both in annual, and monthly comparison after the slight decline of July. Hungary has the sixth highest annual growth rates in the EU, while in the Visegrad countries, (no data was available in the Czech Republic), the recession trend of the previous months continued – reports MTI.
