Analysts: the labor market has recovered from the crisis

The labor market is once again showing its pre-crisis state. Businesses’ intention to expand is increasingly tight, leading to wage competition and projecting stronger inflation, analysts told MTI commented on the latest labor market data.

The labor market has reached pre-crisis levels

According to a report by the Central Statistical Office (KSH) on Thursday, the average monthly headcount in September was 9,000 more than in the previous month and increased by 4,000 from a month earlier. The three-month moving average of the number of employees in the period July-September increased by 36 thousand, compared to the same period of the previous year and was 4 thousand higher than the rolling average a month before.
