Prices of domestic and imported radishes have increased equally
According to Eurostat data, 245–255 thousand tons of month-old radishes are grown annually in the European Union, with Germany, France, Italy and the Netherlands being the dominant producers.

In Hungary, radishes are the second most important cold-tolerant vegetable species after lettuce. According to AKI PÁIR data, the producer price of month-old radishes was 263 forints/bunch in the 1st–12th week of 2025, which is an 11 percent increase compared to the same period of the previous year. In addition, the wholesale price of month-old radishes imported from Italy (191 forints/bunch) increased by 10 percent in the period under review.
