HUF 8.3 billion sales from energy and sportdrink

According to Nielsen research to sales of segments grow by 60% in value and 70% in volume between Mai 2007-April 2008.

The biggest market share have the
privat labels energy drinks, 42% of the sold volume came from this
source. The energy drink dominates the category, its share is over
90%. Its price moved between HUF 569-639 pro liter. The small shops
sold almost twiced from 6% to 11%, the revenue of the segment in
super- and hipermarkets decreased from 80% to 71%.
