Health protection for the economic growth
The World Health Organization statistics and national studies show that 73 percent of the workers' health depends on factors, that can be controlled.
The largest share of the 73 percent is lifestyle, followed by environmental factors and the health care system. As a result of the economic crisis workers' mental load increases which can cause health damage, that can be realize as financial losses.
In Hungary, life expectancy is the lowest among the Member States of the European Union; men (69.2 years) and women (77.3 years). The most vulnerable aged group is the 25-64 years working age men. Twice as many people die prematurely, than in the Union from this group of age – reports portfolio.hu.
