Higher price for livestock as well
The prices of agricultural products were up by 38.1 per cent in March 2008, compared to March 2007. The prices of plant products were up by 52 per cent, while that of livestock and animal products rose by 19.9per cent. Grain prices rose by 85.9 per cent, while the price of showed stagnation. The price of livestock intended for slaughter was up by 12.5 per cent, with poultry producing a price rise of 23.3 per cent.
