Chipstax arrives on Thursday
Soft drinks, energy drinks, prepackaged snacks, sugary, salty snacks and condiments will cost more from Thursday, 1st September, due to the new health product tax, otherwise known as chipstax.
In the case of soft drinks containing less than 25 percent fruit content per deciliter, and 8 grams of sugar, the tax needs to be paid by the producer ot first Hungarian retailer.
