The VAT of food products should be reduced
As it is very difficult to control the illegal trade, the VAT rate of food products should be significantly reduced, just like in Western Europe – said Éder Tamás, the chairman of the Association of Hungarian Meet Manufacturers in the InfoRádió.
The current ruling parties were the strongest allies of the farmers and food manufacturers in the case of reducing the VAT of food products in recent years, so they expect the cabinet to implement the previously developed policy proposals – said the chairman of the Association of the Hungarian Meet Manufacturers – reports Világgazdaság Online.
