Retail sales fell in the EU in March
The volume of retail sales declined in both the EU and in the euro zone in March – Eurostat’s figures were published on Wednesday.
According to the seasonally adjusted data of the EU’s statistical office retail sales declined in the EU28 by 0.7 percent in March, while in the 19 countries of the euro zone the decline was 0.5 percent, compared to February. Retail sales in the euro zone increased by 0.3 percent, while stagnated in the EU28 in February. (MTI)
