The gap between wages in the capital and in the countryside has narrowed
In 2020, Budapest was also the best place to earn in Hungary, but rural salaries have caught up significantly with the capital compared to previous years.
The highest average salary was expected in Komárom-Esztergom county, and the lowest gross wages could be taken home by Hungarians in Csongrád county. Pilots still earn the best in addition to company executives, and seamstresses working as employees have the worst salary. The Fizetés.hu portal, operated by DreamJo.bs, has made an analysis of how we earned in 2020.
