Retail sales declined in the euro area and the EU
Retail sales declined in April in the euro area and the European Union on a monthly basis.
The European Union’s statistical office, Eurostat, said on Friday that retail sales fell by 1.3 percent month-on-month in both the eurozone and the European Union in April, after a growth of 0.3 percent in the euro area and 0.6 percent in the EU was recorded in March. (MTI)
