Csemege-Match: quality groceries – comfortably
Csemege-Match Kereskedelmi Zrt. is a member of the Louis Delhaize Group. Their Hungarian network consists of 113 stores with a floor space of 300-2,500m² and they have more than 2,000 employees. The number of items they sell varies between 4,500 and 16,000. Convenient shopping close to people’s homes is what Csemege-Match offers and they pay increased attention to ensuring the high quality of fresh products. Match’s Gourm&Go brand targets young and middle-aged consumers who do not have much time to eat but like fresh, quality products. The ‘quality groceries – comfortably’ concept perfectly materialised in the supermarket at Duna Plaza, which opened recently. According to press reports, Match stores may soon be acquired by one of the Hungarian-owned purchasing cooperations if the Louis Delhaize Groups sells its Hungarian units.
