China’s inflation is at its an almost nine years peak
Inflation in China rose to an almost nine-year high in January as a result of rising demand due to the Lunar New Year holiday and the coronary epidemic that hit the country.
In the first month of the year, annual inflation was 5.4 percent, up from 4.5 percent in December, peaking at almost nine years since the CPI did not rise as much since October 2011. Analysts expected a 4.9 percent increase in January. (MTI)
