Lego expands in Nyíregyháza
With a 30 billion HUF investment the Lego will expand the number of staff in its Nyíregyháza factory with 1,600 workers – Szijjártó Péter Minister of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Economic Relations said at a press conference in Budapest on Friday.
Szijjártó Péter said that the Hungarian government would contribute to the investment with 4.4 billion HUF. Jesper Hassellund Mikkelsen Plant manager said that the investment would increase the size of the Nyíregyháza factory from 120,000 square meters to 250,000 square meters. More than 700 new machines will be installed and the packaging capacity will also be expanded. (MTI)
