The Kisfaludy Beach Development Program of the Hungarian Tourism Agency (MTÜ) continues: the open-water beaches along Lake Balaton, Lake Tisza, Lake Velence, and the Danube and Tisza can be further developed with another 3.3 billion HUF non-refundable grant. The drafts of the calls for proposals are already public, available on the kisfaludyprogram.hu site – MTÜ told MTI on Friday.

Bath developments will continue from 3.3 billion HUF

In 2017, MTÜ launched the Kisfaludy Beach Development Program, which aims to renew all Hungarian open-air beaches by 2030. As a result of the multi-step developments, visitors will be welcomed by family-friendly, barrier-free spas of European standard throughout the country, providing the same quality of service. In the first 4 phases of the support series, 114 beaches have been revived with 12 billion HUF in support. In the next phase of beach development, about 100 projects will be able to gain new development funds at Lake Balaton, Lake Tisza, Lake Velence, and along the Danube and Tisza. (MTI)
