The price of Hungarian pork declines due to the Russian import stop
Hungarian pig farmers are in a difficult situation, because due to the Russian import stop, the price of porker declined by more than 7 percent. The price of pork decreased by 12 percent in EU average – agrarszektor.hu wrote after Magyar Nemzet.
According to the Magyar Nemzet, the price decline is due to Russia’s import stop that was introduced at the beginning against the European Union, because the swine fever in Ukraine, Lithuania and in Poland. (agrarszektor.hu)
