Hungarians eat less chocolate az the European average
According to the national association of chocolate producers Hungarians eat yearly 4 kilogram chocolate, most of the at the Christmas season. The European average is 7 kg.
Every Hungarian family buy 1,7 kg
Christmas fondant, the typical Hungarian sweets, the most popular is
the jelled fondant. Hungarian also likes the Christmas figures from
chocolate, in the season we buy 821 tons of them. It is the half
volume of the year. Hungarians also like Santa from chocolate and
other Advent figures, we spent almost HUF 2 for them.
