Auchan is helping large families start school this year, too
On August 4, the National Association of Large Families (NOE) and Auchan will start their joint school supplies collection campaign. With the collection, which is already considered a tradition, they want to help those families who are particularly burdened by the start of the school year, as more children have to be sent to school. As a result of last year’s collection, 8,100 children in 2,500 families received school supplies, and the company financially supported the association. Once again, Auchan is asking its customers to buy one or two more school supplies than they need and to drop them off at the store’s collection points until September 4th.
“The school supplies collection campaign is very close to our hearts, it is no coincidence that we are organizing it for the fifth time together with the National Association of Large Families. It fills us with great enthusiasm that the collection was very successful in previous years, and we are confident that we will be able to finish this year with at least as good a result. It has already been proven on numerous occasions that Auchan’s customers are a real community who enthusiastically take action for a good cause, and we are very proud of that.”
– said Ildikó Varga-Futó, Auchan’s CSR director.
