Auchan, CBA, Real and Tesco have also joined the Egg Association
According to the Association of Hungarian Egg Hybrid Breeders and Egg Producers there is an even greater need for food producers operating within the borders of the country, ie safe domestic production in the post-coronavirus world.
Therefore, the association calls on the grocery store chains not push out EU-compliant caged eggs, which account for more than 80 percent of Hungarian production, from store shelves, and to think of all customer segments, taking into account sustainability considerations. In this, the Egg Association found partners in the domestic food chains of Auchan, CBA, Real and Tesco.
