The National Chamber of Agriculture (NAK) has agreed with the leaders of ALDI to further increase the proportion of Hungarian suppliers. The chain of stores is open to new domestic producers and food producers, and the chamber helps to establish relations.

“The coronavirus has highlighted the importance of favoring domestic goods; in the long run, the sales opportunities of domestic producers must be strengthened. Our goal is to have fresh or processed foods on the shelves of Hungarian stores, from which the actors of the Hungarian food industry produce the right quantity and quality. ” – Éder Tamás, NAK’s national vice president responsible for the food industry stressed at the meeting.
