The name ALDI is intended to represent constantly high quality at a constantly low price. This is the cornerstone of their success. Aldi has several branches with independent companies. They have over 300 stores in Great Britain and Ireland and another 700 in 26 states of the US. They even have over 90 stores in Australia. Food items are delivered to Aldi stores on a daily basis which guarantees a constant supply of high quality fresh products. Various promotions are held on Mondays and Thursdays, with extremely favourable prices, although generally for non-food items. Aldi focuses on building its own private labels. Their objective is to ensure they loyalty of a large group of regular customers. Aldi pays the utmost attention to selecting reliable suppliers. Regional manufacturers are preferred. Their sophisticated logistical system does not require a large warehousing capacity. All of their products are regularly tested by independent quality control institutions and comply with the strictest quality criteria.
