The Hungarian agriculture is strong – according to the Agricultural Research Institute
The Hungarian agriculture is “in good shape” which is also indicated by the fact that the industry players Have about 500 billion HUF bank deposits and the state of the industry can be positively evaluated overall- the Director-General of the Agricultural Economics Research Institute (AKI) told MTI on Tuesday.
Kapronczai István at the meeting held onm the occasion of the 60th anniversary of AKI told that the support level of Hungarian agricultural economy caught up with the old EU member states in the past three years – partly due to the price effects, partly because of the EU subsidies, so a high level of resources accumulated in the Hungarian agriculture, which can be the basis of the future development of the sector.
