Euro Zone’s economic performance continued to improve in August
The economic performance in the euro zone has become slightly better-than-expected in August – according to the Purchasing Managers' Index of the Markit Economic Research Institute.
The preliminary value of the euro zone’s manufacturing purchasing managers index (PMI) was somewhat lower than expected in August, however the service industry’s purchasing managers index (53.1 points) and the composite index caused pleasant surprise. (MTI)
