The second part of the new passenger pier at Ferihegy Airport was handed over

The operator of Budapest Liszt Ferenc International Airport handed over the second part of the new passenger pier to the passenger traffic. The total investment cost 11.5 billion HUF.

In a statement sent to MTI on Wednesday, Budapest Airport informed that the new part of the building had already been completed on June 23, so far they have been waiting for the release permit.

Construction of Pier 1 began in July last year, with the first phase being completed in January this year. In the second, now completed phase, the corridor connecting the terminal 2A and the second part of the pier was built. (MTI)
