We recently wrote about how products related to saving and energy management come up on Vatera, and now Arukereső has collected the top searches. In Hungary, the number of searches in energy-related categories increased dramatically after it was revealed that the utility reduction system will change significantly from August. The most popular product – understandably – is the consumption meter: here, the number of searches has increased from 300 to 12 thousand, i.e. 40 times.

The increasingly threatening energy crisis does not affect consumers in any of the surrounding countries as much as it does in Hungary, according to the latest survey by Árukereső.hu. While in Slovenia, products related to summer clothing, in Romania, to home renovations, and in Bulgaria to the start of school are the most searched for, in this country, in addition to the gigantic progress of the energy meter, the number of searches for boilers jumped up to ninth place in July: three times as many people were interested in it in the past month as in June.

In Hungary, in the past month, people were occupied with devices related to renewable, alternative energy sources: they were 3,000 percent more interested in wind turbines than before. For solar systems, interest increased from 600 to 13,000, for solar energy converters from 700 to 12,000, for solar collectors from 600 to 9,000, and for solar modules from 1,700 to 18,000, which means an increase of 3,000, 2,100, 1,500 and 900 percent . While previously the number of searches for stoves and fireplaces had just reached 5,000, now 30 days were enough for it to increase more than thirteen times, i.e. to 66,000. Not so big, but a significant increase can be seen for oil radiators and sparhelts – here the change is 12 times and 9.5 times: the former jumped from barely 500 to 6 thousand, the latter from almost 2 thousand to almost 20 thousand. In the examined period, the interest in briquettes for firing increased by another 1,200 percent.
