The producer price of domestic raspberries is lower
According to Eurostat data, raspberries were grown on 180 hectares in Hungary in 2023, and the annual yield was between 460 and 540 tons in recent years.

According to KSH data, the import of fresh raspberries (primarily from Spain) decreased by 13 percent to 340.5 tons in 2023, and the export is not significant. In the first five months of this year, the delivery of fresh raspberries increased by 116 percent to 322.5 tons compared to the same period last year. According to KSH data, imports of frozen raspberries fell by 14 percent to 1.48 thousand tons, and exports by 12 percent to 544.3 tons in 2023 compared to the previous year. In the first five months of this year, the import of frozen raspberries decreased by 6 percent to 710.7 tons, and the export decreased by 43 percent to 146.4 tons compared to the same period of the previous year.
According to the data of AKI PÁIR, domestic raspberries appeared in the Budapest Wholesale Market in the 22nd week. The producer price of raspberries decreased by 23 percent to HUF 2,057/kilogram 22–31, 2024. per week compared to the same period of the previous year.
