Consumer confidence in the United States has deteriorated more than expected
Consumer confidence in the United States deteriorated more than analysts expected in June.
The Conference Board’s nonprofit economic research institute said on Tuesday that its consumer confidence index had fallen from 106.4 points in May to 98.7 points in June (1985 = 100 points). Analysts expected a less deteriorating indicator of 100.4 points for June. (MTI)
