Retail sales in Germany increased more than expected
Retail sales in Germany increased much more than expected in June.
According to preliminary data published by the German Federal Statistical Office (Destatis) on Tuesday, retail turnover, by eliminating price effects, increased by 3.0 per cent compared to June last year. Analysts expected a 1.5 percent rise after the 1.6 percent fall in May. (MTI)
