On the three day meeting of the Chambers of Agriculture leaders of Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland and Slovakia (V4-countries), the representatives of agri-producers called on European policy makers to support sustainable crop-based biofuels.
According to the communication of the National Association of Agricultural Economics (NAK) sent to MTI on Monday, the four Visegrád countries are able to produce an annual 8 billion liters of biofuel for the EU. This is 1 percent of the amount used for transportation on this continent. (MTI)
