Tesco is planning to open 30 new stores in 2010
Despite the challenges, caused by the economic crisis Tesco was managed to retain its market leading position in Hungary over the past year.
The company continued to invest throughout the country, and gave jobs to nearly 2 000 people beside the existing 20 000. Tesco this year plans the opening of 30 new Tesco stores – including hypermarkets and express-type stores and plans to increase the number of its employees by 1,700 – states the statement of the company.
