After last year’s record year, domestic online stores are facing further strong growth
According to the announcement, the net turnover of 1,046 billion HUF measured in 2020 represents a 34 percent increase compared to the net turnover of 781 billion HUF in 2019. Taking into account the growth rate of previous years, this corresponds to roughly two years of expansion. Last year, the share of e-retail reached almost 10 percent of the total retail turnover, ie every tenth forint was spent online by domestic customers. (MTI)
