SPAR Hungary continued to grow in 2014
The SPAR Magyarország Kereskedelmi Kft. opened its first SPAR store in 1991 in Tata. By the end of 2014, the business network has no less than 419 units in Hungary: 32 INTERSPAR hypermarkets, 363 SPAR supermarkets, 14 City SPAR stores and 24 franchised stores.
The SPAR Group realized a turnover of 473.7 billion HUF in 2014, which is a nearly 4.5 percent growth, compared to the previous year. In 2014 the company's strategy focused on the franchise network: the franchise network is the basis for future growth, and therefore the SPAR intends to provide an opportunity for the development of family businesses. Due to the work of many years, and thanks to the continuous development and expansion the SPAR brand name is now synonymous in Hungary with trade guaranteeing a high standard.
