The Spar does not want to stay out of the travel market
After several large retail networks, the Austrian Spar group also enters into the travel market. On the company’s online site, more than one thousand journeys are available.
So far, Tesco, Billa, Lidl and Hofer, the Merkur and Zielpunkt have launched their own Internet reservation system.
The Spar group’s consolidated turnover in Hungary amounted to 397.3 billion HUF last year, which is a 6.2 percent growth, compared to the 374.2 billion HUF, of the the previous year – reports MTI.
