CBA concentrates on developing Príma and Cent stores
Despite the difficult economic environment CBA managed to increase sales in 2010, by HUF 7.5 billion to HUF 555 billion. The chain has the highest number of units in domestic food retail: 2,627 SMEs operate 3,359 stores. Premium category CBA Príma stores first opened in May 2009 and at the moment there are 64; as for Cent discount store there are 7 of them. In the future CBA is going to focus on developing these two store types. CBA’s latest effort is to be the ambassadors of Hungarian products abroad. Soon they are going to open Hungaricum Delikát stores in Berlin, Brussels, London and Paris. Latest news: CBA won the ‘Century Quality Era Diamond Award’ of Business Initiative Directions.
