42 percent of the Hungarian Internet users usually buy online
40 percent of the Hungarian internet users, about 2.8 million people are buying from Hungarian sites and 16 percent of the population, 833 thousand people are buying from foreign sites.
In 2014 this rate was only 32 and 12 percent. According to the survey of Gemius, the online stores are the most popular e-commerce sites. The most popular product categories are the books-music- films, the clothing and accessories, as well as the cinema, concert and theater tickets.
The value of an average shopping cart among regular customers is 20,430 HUF per capita. In one year an average customer spends an average of 134,160 HUF in e-commerce. (Világgazdaság Online)
