Facebook is the top marketing tool for SMEs
According to a recent survey by Marketing Commando, the No.1 marketing tool for Hungarian SMEs is still Facebook – 84% of them use this platform. Second most popular is the company website (69%) and Instagram is in the third place (56%). Last year the most dynamically growing marketing tool was TikTok, climbing 5 places and finishing 13th in the ranking. Back in 2019 only 1% of SMEs used this platform, but today 22% of them can be found on TikTok. In 2022 the average marketing spending was HUF 6.8m, 37 % more than a year earlier, but this doesn’t mean that SMEs bought more ads or services: because of the rising prices, they simply had to pay more for the same results. //
