The yogurt sales increased Danone’s revenues
Danone’s turnover increased by more than 11 percent to 8.4 billion euros in the first half of the year.
According to the Tuesday announcement of the world's largest dairy producer; the increase is mainly due to the expanded sales of yogurt in the non-European markets, where Danone expects, that these markets will determine the consumption in the future.
The results before tax and pre interest payments, rose by 5.8 percent to 1.28 billion from the former 1.21 billion euros, while analysts expected 1.29 billion – reports MTI.
