Despite the pandemic, the operator of the auchan promenade closed a successful first half

Although a significant portion of the stores were closed during the March-April period, the majority of tenants imported the loss of revenue, resulting in overall similar sales as before the pandemic.

The tenant and visitor data for the first half of the year, as well as the impact of the coronavirus pandemic on the development of retail turnover, were analyzed by Ceetrus Hungary Kft., the operator of Auchan Korzók in Hungary. The brand includes nearly 650 stores, service providers, restaurants and cafes in 18 Auchan stores nationwide, including many well-known global brands.

Comparing the data of 2019 and 2020, the first half of this year was + 0.4 percent better than the first six months of the previous year in terms of visitor numbers.
