Aldi is reforming the British Easter chocolate eggs: the bottom of the novelties will be flat, thus the store chain will save several tons of plastic – napi.hu wrote.

Aldi gets rid of a total of 2 million pieces of plastic for the Easter holidays.
The bottom of some Easter chocolate eggs will be flat, i.e. square. This step makes it possible to prevent the eggs from tipping over, so there is no need for inner plastic packaging. A total of 6 Easter product groups will be renewed and will be completely plastic-free. (napi.hu, Csernátony Csaba)
