The Harvard University has “rehabilitated” the egg
The myth that egg is an unhealthy, “vascular killer” cholesterol bomb, seems to be false of which consumption should be avoided by all health-conscious people.
Several studies have also shown recently that only a minimal part of the cholesterol found in food reaches the bloodstream and saturated fats and trans fats are the biggest threat for the levels of cholesterol. The American Institute of Harvard School of Public Health’s staff propose a maximum of three eggs per week for people with diabetes and a daily maximum of two eggs for healthy people – reports [origo].
