The GVH inspects advertisings appear in the social media as well
The Hungarian Competition Authority (GVH) will examine the communication contents that appear in the social media because the consumer is often unable to find out that whether it is a paid advertising, or just a share of a public figure about a product or service – Juhász Miklós, president of the GVH told M1 news channel on Wednesday.
He added that the situation should be clarified from the perspective of the competition law.
He explained that the GVH pays special attention to consumer protection, and considers to increase the competitiveness' awareness of the small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) important. (MTI)
