Füstli has been the most popular brand since 2000
According to ACNielsen Market Research Company from April 2012, Sága Foods Co. is the leader of the Hungarian sausage-segment with their 16.5 share. Their success goes back to the unique brand Füstli launched in 2000, which was chosen to be an Outstanding Hungarian product in 2007. The own research of Sága suggests that we prefer to eat sausages as a seperate food (in 78 percent of the cases), while regular customers purchase it to accompany a certain meal, and for 30 percents of the customers sausages are a basic ingredient.
