Nearly half of consumers now only buy eco-friendly packaging products
However, a 2020 study shows that it is becoming more what the packaging is made of, especially among the younger generation. It is more important than the color, shape and pattern of packaging. 44 percent of consumers are willing to pay more for a product available in eco-friendly packaging. and 48 percent of them brands avoid sustainability. The survey also found that paper and board are by far the most supported packaging materials in Europe.
