TESCO to fight for discount shoppers in Poland

Tesco Polska will introduce 700 basic products under 40 newly created brands. The prices will compete with Schwarz-owned Lidl or Biedronka.

 At the same time the chain will adapt
its upmarket product offer at outlets where customers are looking for
more sophisticated goods than a standard Tesco offers.
