Design Management Europe Award in Tallinn
The five winners of the Design Management Europe Award 2011 were proudly presented Friday, September 23rd at KUMU (Art Museum Estonia) in Tallinn, Estonia.
The award ceremony kicked off with a performance by the well-known Estonian saxophone player Villu Veski, followed by the celebration of the DME winners and honourable mentions. Among those present were Lisbeth Bahl-Poulsen (senior Policy Officer of the European Commission), Juhan Parts (Estonian minister of Economic Affairs and Communications) and Deborah Dawton (president of BEDA).
The DME Award recognises the critical role of management in the successful implementation of design and innovation. The winners were selected by an international jury of business experts.
