Revenues and the losses of Danubius both increased during the first half of the year
The Danubius Hotel group's operating profit improved and the revenue increased in the first half of they year, but the pre-tax loss of the company became 11 percent higher than a year ago – according to the company’s report, published on the website of the Budapest Stock Exchange (BSE) on Friday.
The Danubius Hotels reached 23.7 billion HUF consolidated revenues, 4 percent more than in the previous year, its operating income increased to 500 million HUF, from last year's 300 million HUF. According to the flash report, made on the basis of the International Accounting Standards (IAS), the group's financial loss was 1,084 billion HUF, compared to the 760 million HUF loss of the last year. The report explains that the increase was primarily due to unrealized exchange rate changes. (MTI)
