340 million euros will be distributed among the drought victims in Germany
Up to half a million (160 million HUF) will be allocated to the drought victim farmers in Germany if the farm can prove that its losses are due to this year’s drought. The rules for damages are still not final, but the numbers are already there – agrarszektor.hu wrote.
In addition, the recipient receives the compensation must demonstrate that the mere fact of existence is at risk: drought has taken the third of the average expected yield and the losses exceed the amount of money from which debt repayments and the necessary investments can be recovered.
