HUF 25 million penalty for Hervis

According to the Hungarian Competition Authority in the company's ads written „old price” was higher, than it was used in the shops, before the actions, so Hervis absuded its consumers.

 Hervis, which has 18 stores in Hungary
and is a leader in selling sport articles, used this „untrue old
price – big rebate” business policy for a longer periode what
found the authority as aggravating circumstance. The competition
watch dog said becase of the fictive old prices the consumers
couldn't realistic estimate to rebate.
